With a thickness of 48mm, a Solidor door is nearly 10% thicker than most alternative composite doors. Each unique solid timber core is encapsulated within a highly durable plastic edge banding and two thermoplastic door skins. This system means you will never have to worry about painting or varnishing your Solidor installation.

Industry-accredited market leader

Solidor composite doors are manufactured to the highest standards. They hold BSI Kite mark accreditation, BSI ISO 9001 for quality management and BSI EN1279 for insulating glass units. They are also PAS24:2016-certified, hold the CE Marking and Secured by design licences, and are members of the prestigious GGF and Association of Composite Door Manufacturers.

Widest colour range

Solidor offers 23 colour options for the inside and outside, including many exclusive finishes such as Walnut and Duck Egg blue. Moreover, they can offer 18 colour combinations for the door frames.

Security

Solidor composite doors are undoubtedly the most secure on the market, featuring both insurance and police-approved locking systems. Choose from the most sophisticated locks available — from ABS Master, Ultion, and Lock Lock, to AV3 or the Avantis Lock. The Avantis is exclusive to Solidor and provides the largest and strongest hook and bolt system in the door sector.

Like many features from Solidor, this new locking mechanism carries the market’s first 25mm triangulated dead bolt, which makes for greater compression and security on a closed door. Another key feature is the deadlock, which also operates from the action of lifting the handle rather than a key turn.
